Full Time Bookkeeper

Can-Am RV Centre is among Canada’s top recreational vehicle dealers and #1 for Airstream sales. Family owned and operated since 1970, we take pride in selling and servicing top quality travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes to customers from across North America.
We are seeking a hardworking, organized and motivated individual to work as a member of our Accounting Department. The position that we are hiring for is full-time 40 hours a week with some flexibility in hours.
**General Duties & Responsibilities**
- Coding, entering, verifying and reconciling accounts payable transaction
- Running day end procedures
- ie: posting the day’s receipts, daily closings
- Filing and tallying deposits, cheques, invoices and cheque requisitions.
- General clerical duties such as maintaining files and record keeping systems
**Skills & Requirements**
- Completed or in the process of completing a post-secondary program in the field of Bookkeeping, Accounting or General Business
- Previous experience in the field would be considered an asset but not required
- Basic understanding of accounting practices such as: debits and credits, reconciliations etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well independently as well as deal with the daily demands of a small business and work well with others.
