**Job Summary**:
**Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following**:

- Preparing and submitting government remittances, including tax filings, payroll deductions, and other required reports;
- Managing all aspects of the company's day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations;
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of financial data;
- Preparing and processing expense reports, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment processing;
- Performing regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues;
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets as needed;
- Providing support for annual audits and assisting in the preparation of audit schedules;
- Staying up to date with relevant accounting regulations and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations;
- Preparing trial balance, balance sheet, income statement and all other financial statements;
- Handling any other bookkeeping tasks or special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5+ years’ proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or Controller in a similar role;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures;
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Quick books and Quick books online
- Proficient all in MS Office system especially advanced Excel;
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Completion of secondary school is required; and
- Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required; and
- Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
