Sales Development Representative

Our Sales Team is looking for a tenacious and savvy Sales Development Rep to help us expand our territory and clientele on the Lower Mainland - Vancouver. This is a great opportunity for that independent hunter to utilize their excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, solutions-driven attitude, and negotiation skills, to name a few.
This role, remote and situated on the Lower Mainland, requires some weekend and holiday availability.
**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Sourcing and securing new accounts and managing existing relationships to achieve profitable sales growth.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers by analyzing and helping them determine their right product mix.
- Communicating to the Sales Team current market intel (pricing, supply, quality, trends ) gathered from existing customers and business development activities.
- Entering sales orders and troubleshooting.
- Collaborating with other departments and units to ensure business needs are supported.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in the Foodservice, Retail or Hospitality industries.
- University or College business degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Basic computer literacy in MS Office 365.
- Ability to work independently and within a sales team environment.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract (Drivers N abstract & personal insurance discount).
