Dealer Development Manager

The Dealer Development Manager is responsible for strengthening current Dealer relationships and improving product penetration, through consistent, approved account development/training & management activities and thorough product and industry knowledge.
Essential Responsibilities:
- In store, one on one training with all departments.
- Administration of F&I sales process, core competency tests and training modules
- Models and executes Sym-Tech F&I sales process for training purposes ("Show Me")
- Participates in group/ store training and meetings
- Consistently utilizes the "Triple Visibility" development format
- Tracks performance, provides updates and delivers results of the Performance Plan set with the dealer
- In-store performance monitoring using available reporting tools to track target vs. actual performance and product penetration
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) continual daily, monthly and quarterly updates of appointments, sales, training activities and executive reviews
- Participates in account conversions including Pre /Kickoff/Post activities
- Solicits/leverages Dealer referrals and provide information to National Sales Manager
- Communicates with supervisor regularly, providing updates and informing of potential opportunities/concerns
- Remains current with relevant training modules and DOM training courses
Qualifications:
- Held the position of Specialist for a minimum of 6 months
- As a Specialist, achieved a score of 90% Maximize F&I Performance core competency (Cap score)
- Ability to develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers
