As an Energy Specialist, you are a key member of the Energy & Environmental Sustainability (EES) team and are responsible for supporting the energy and sustainability projects; technical input and support regarding the management and analysis of energy data and information.

**Build on your education and career experience as you**:

- Input, analysis and report on utilities data and GHG emissions
- Conduct energy audits and consumption assessments
- Manage/support assigned facilities energy or sustainability projects including the measuring and reporting of key performance indicators and benchmarks
- Prepare business reports, memos, proposals, business cases and presentations for the Energy Manager or Director to identify best practices, generate consistent and comparable data across the Organizations and identify economies of scale to ensure optimal efficiency of the department and use of resources
- Identify key energy issues and assumptions to facilitate the process and procedures to enable the accurate and timely completion of the annual planning process, approvals and implementation of changes to the operating and project plan
- Conduct financial, statistical, technical and workload analysis and research to track and monitor energy related projects, identify variances and
- liaise with project management, consultants or contractors regarding changes to accommodate shifts in funding levels and/or identify remedial action

Our EES team is looking for someone who is passionate about creative practices. Your understanding and knowledge of Fortis BC rebate and saving programs, complimented with your expertise in the Fortis Energy specialist program will be considered a huge asset. We value experience working in facilities related to health care with utilities, GHG emissions data and reporting which provides you with the ability to make a positive impact in the health sector.
