We’re looking for an experienced Event & Sales Manager with a passion for planning, and executing events to join our Events and Sales Team. In this role you will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for large events and properties within portfolio, implementing strategies in all sales and events operations, and show case strong leadership skills.

**What You’ll Do**
- Direct sales and events operations of assigned portfolio properties, including management (and filling) events calendar for portfolio property
- Prepare proposals for clients and maintain well-organized event records, including BEO paperwork
- Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners, leveraging relationships to deliver innovative and memorable events
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies in all sales and events operations
- Build and maintain client relationships across the portfolio, exercising excellent customer relationship management and communication skills
- Serve as the primary point of contact for large events and properties within portfolio, providing accurate and timely information to clients, vendors and meeting planner
- Meet with clients regularly to plan events, conduct tours of the appropriate property, etc.
- Negotiate contracts with clients and assist with the accounts receivable processing, ensuring accurate and complete payments are collected at appropriate times in the event planning and execution process
- Maintain active membership of the hospitality and event planning industries, having a pulse on market trends in order to present and pursue new market opportunities to increase event sales
- Host key event planners and building events to showcase properties
- Own all elements of event planning, including identifying event logistics and working cross functionally to produce relevant materials and set clear expectations for event execution.
- Gather post-event feedback and develop ways to improve client satisfaction to create customer loyalty and deliver a positive event experience.
- Build and maintain a CRM
- Create and execute strategy for effective cold calling and new business development.

**Qualifications** What You’ll Need**
- Highly organized, time management skills, ability to multitask numerous projects and events while meeting deadlines
- Strong leadership skills, proficiency in delegating tasks to the onsite staff
- Ability to create a strong rapport with colleagues, onsite staff, and the Operations Team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in person, written and by phone
- Agile and able to pivot in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with change
- Ability to deal with the stresses of completing multiple tasks at once
- Provides fantastic customer service and high expectations for quality
