Job Summary:

- Treasury: Central 1 enables a strong and stable credit union system as the primary liquidity provider to credit unions in B.C. and Ontario. This includes delivering a robust array of funding programs and investment products and our Asset Management Services (AMS)enables credit unions to rely on the specialized investment expertise of Central 1.- DBPX: Payments and Digital Services is an integral part of Canada’s banking system. We have 148 financial institutions committed to the Forge Digital Banking Platform, and we process more than 645 million payments annually on behalf of over 200 financial institutions and government organizations in Canada. We are one of the largest payments processors for Canadians, and we’ve been doing it for over 25 years.

What you'll be doing:
- Building a strong, trusting relationship with the CEO and ELT, and acting as support in the strategic and operational leadership of the business.- Championing forward and strategic thinking amongst the 45-member finance team to support an innovative and insight-driven cultural shift. Ensuring that the finance function is seen as a “partner with the business”, is proactive, responsive, and insightful in supporting improved business decisions and results.- Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with the CEO, the ELT, and the Board in leading a proactive approach to the finance function and to support key decisions as a senior leader at Central 1.- Developing a clear understanding of the future of Central 1 from strategic and operational perspectives. Ensuring that the enterprise financial and capital management strategy, finance function, and its priorities are focused on the key strategic imperatives of Central 1, while understanding that the industry will continue to be disrupted by external change.- Demonstrating proven ability in developing models and conducting analyses that identify critical trends, support strategic decision making and create forward
