POSITION DESCRIPTION

- IT**

**What’s the job?**
- Track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution, identify recurring trends, document process for future response (Confluence). Maintain help desk ticketing system (Jira)
- Support I.T. equipment in plants and offices, e.g: workstations, hand scanners, thermal label & laser printers. Ensuring functionality and connectivity to network and systems, and facilitating their maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, test, and diagnose computer and peripheral problems for end-users
- Support, monitor and test hardware and software problems pertaining to the LAN
- Recommends and schedules repairs and preventative maintenance to I.T. equipment
- Procure, configure, distribute and coordinate final installation of user stations as per corporate standards.
- Work and update network hardware equipment in accordance to corporate IT standards.
- Provide remote or onsite support to other locations in the corporation as assigned
- Conduct first level hardware and standard software suite training to all corporate end-users
- Ensure that security requirements are enabled and enforced, such as Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Provide deployment and support for mobile devices (smartphone).
- Any other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

**What do you bring?**
- Post-Secondary Certificate or Diploma in an IT field
- 3+ years of experience
- Knowledge of Current Microsoft Operating Systems
- Knowledge of current network technologies and mobile/mobility solutions
- Knowledge of hardware/software troubleshooting techniques and I.T. best practices
- Organizational skills, capable of working independently as well as with the I.T. team and business units
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Any Microsoft MTA, certifications are assets
