At AYS our vision is to provide quality services and support to small businesses. We are looking for a Client Support Technician to join our team, who shares our commitment to providing excellent customer service.

The Client Support Technician will take ownership in ensuring customer requests are taken care of in an efficient and timely manner. They will also work on special projects as required by the President.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Respond to client tickets and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Update/Close tickets on system with explanations and time entries.
- Attend client premises for necessary installations and repairs.
- Ensure necessary tools are available to perform the jobs e.g. USB recovery tools, hardware installation tools (IE Drill, screwdriver, etc.)
- Maintain and replenish supplies periodically in preparation for the next day e.g., Patch cables, jacks, spare switches, power bars, etc.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers.
- Report to supervisor the accomplishments of the day and any and all issues on the days jobs.
- Plan for the upcoming week, contact customers and arrange times to be on the job, set their weekly schedule according to the tickets.
- Arrange a time to speak with customers to set a time for the visit.
- Follow up with clients to ensure that everything is working properly
- Trouble shoot issues as they arise e.g., Internet connectivity, Mail connectivity, virus alerts, power issues, camera system issues, etc.
- Continuous self-learning, take the time to research better ways to solve the issue if issues come up in the field, e.g., if struggling with a particular task such as setting up a mail client, find a resource that allows you to learn how to do that task better next time.
- Other tasks or duties as assigned by Management, that may be required to ensure the continued success of the company.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Experience with end user and desktop support
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing PC and Mac computer systems.
- Basic knowledge of servers and server infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Printer Servers).
- Use of basic hand tools (IE Drill, Screwdriver), Ability to work safely on ladders and lifts.
- Hands on experience with installation of network wiring, CCTV Cameras, Wifi Access Points.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good command of English language, ability to communicate clearly both written and oral.
- Valid G Drivers License and a clean driving record

**Physical Requirements**
- Day shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
- Regularly work with basic hand tools and climb ladders
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs

The anticipated start date is: June 3, 2024

Benefits: A Health Spending Account funds will be in place after 3 months of employment.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
