**Service Manager**

Under the supervision of the Branch Manager our Service Managers provide leadership to the service department to meet company goals through productive staffing, customer retention, mechanic/technician training, and quality workmanship while improving productivity, reducing costs, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and providing excellent customer service.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the daily operations of the service department
- Serve as principal interface with customers regarding services including provision of estimates, addressing customer concerns and complaints
- Providing expert advice for technical repairs and customer service
- Prioritize all work orders, assign work orders to technicians/mechanics
- Oversee and assist the service clerk in the invoicing process and explanation of work to the customer
- Play a role in the accounts receivable process
- Supervision of staff while creating and maintaining a safe and productive work environment
- Hire, retain, and ensure proper training of staff
- Provide effective feedback on staff performance

**Requirements**:

- **Education, experience, and skills required**_
- Ideally we are looking for individuals with 5+ years of related work experience
- Other combinations of work/education equivalence may be considered
- Strong background in service and be able to lead and organize a service team as well as handle the daily operations in a busy branch environment
- Sound mechanical knowledge
- Computer skills (MS Office) and systems knowledge
- Experience in the forestry and construction industry would be considered an asset
- Ambitious and driven personality
- Excellent interpersonal relation skills
- Ability to work in an environment of changing priorities.
- Ability to work 40 + hours per week.

**Gérant de service**

Sous la supervision du directeur de succursale, nos directeurs de service dirigent le département de service afin d'atteindre les objectifs de l'entrepris. Soit par le biais d'une dotation en personnel productive, de la fidélisation de la clientèle, de la formation des mécaniciens/techniciens et d'un travail de qualité tout en améliorant la productivité, en réduisant les coûts et en maintenant un niveau élevé de satisfaction de la clientèle.

**Responsabilités spécifiques**
- Superviser les opérations quotidiennes du service après-vente.
- Servir d'interface principale avec les clients en ce qui concerne les services, notamment en fournissant des devis, en répondant aux préoccupations et aux plaintes des clients.
- Fournir des conseils d'expert pour les réparations techniques et le service à la clientèle
- Prioriser tous les ordres de travail et les attribuer aux techniciens/mécaniciens
- Superviser et assister le commis de service dans le processus de facturation et l'explication du travail au client.
- Jouer un rôle dans le processus des comptes à recevoir
- Superviser le personnel tout en créant et en maintenant un environnement de travail sûr et productif
- Embaucher, retenir et assurer une formation adéquate du personnel
- Fournir un feedback efficace sur les performances du personnel

**Exigences**

**Formation, expérience et compétences requises**
- Idéalement, nous recherchons des personnes ayant plus de 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle connexe.
- Autres combinaisons d'équivalence travail/éducation peuvent être considérées.
- Une solide expérience dans le domaine du service et la capacité de diriger et d'organiser une équipe de service ainsi que de gérer les opérations quotidiennes dans un environnement de succursale très actif.
- Solides connaissances en mécanique
- Compétences informatiques (MS Office) et connaissance des systèmes
- Une expérience dans l'industrie forestière et de la construction serait considérée comme un atout.
- Ambition et motivation
- Excellentes compétences en matière de relations interpersonnelles
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement où les priorités changent.
- Capacité à travailler plus de 40 heures par semaine.
