We are seeking a skilled _CNC _**Senior**_ _Machinist_ to join our team. _**To qualify for this role**_**, you must have extensive experience with CNC Machine set-ups and machining custom, precision parts with tight tolerance on CNC Mills or CNC Lathes**.

Mastercam programming is an asset, please indicate for special consideration. To be considered for a programming role, you must have expert level knowledge and there will be practical assessment to demonstrate that skillset.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC _**custom machining**_**. (not production)**:

- Experience with Mastercam software.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CNC machine operation.
- Exceptional ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tool selection.
- Experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis machining and live tooling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with tight tolerance parts (.0005")
- Experience with one-off, custom precision parts.
- Ability to edit existing programs at the machine.
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and positive team attitude.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Machine one-off custom precision parts.
- Set up and operate CNC milling or lathe machines.
- Read an interpret blueprints.
- Verify the accuracy of programs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain quality and tolerance standards.
- Modify G&M code at the machine.
- Experience using Mastercam.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
