About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Machinist to join our team in Cambridge. This is a full-time opportunity that offers steady work, great training, and advancement opportunities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam programs.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using precise measuring tools including calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Loading and unloading CNC machines with material.
  • Perform quality control procedures on finished parts and adjust programs as needed.
  • Adjust G & M code commands.
  • Interpret blueprints to determine machining operations.
  • Perform tooling changeovers.
  • Perform multiple change outs daily and weekly.
  • Perform routine maintenance including changing broken tools, TPM, and sensor states.
  • Start up and shut down machines.
  • Run 3-4 machines at a time.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a CNC Machinist setting up and operating various CNC mills and lathes.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls and experience working with 2 and 3 axis CNC machines.
  • Ability to modify programming and run multiple machines simultaneously.
  • Steel toe shoes or boots are required for this role.
  • Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
