**This is what else you can expect from this dynamic role**:

- Accountable for providing service to members and staff in a manner that is consistent with member values and keeping the interests of membership as the primary focus of work.
- Preparing and presenting submissions to Independent Assessment Committees.
- Act as a resource to the individuals on the Regional Service Teams holding responsibility for professional practice.
- Represent ONA on external committees as directed by the Manager and provide backup to other Labour Relations Officers on the team as required.
- This exciting opportunity also provides education to our membership and orientation to new staff.

**What we are looking for**:

- A Registered Nurse (RN) designation is required with a minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
- Bilingualism (written and verbal French) is required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of labour relations and/or professional practice experience
- Labour Relations or Industrial Relations Certificate is preferred.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills including familiarity with conflict resolution approaches.
- Experience with teaching/coaching/mentoring is an asset.
