Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Supervisor, Quality Assurance for a permanent full-time position.

Reporting to the Director, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, the Supervisor, Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring that the management of the quality system, including all stages of production (manufacturing, packaging, labeling, distribution, analysis) of a health and cosmetics product, complies with the applicable food and drug requirements, the marketing authorization and does not expose the consumer to any risk associated with deficient safety or quality.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
- Ensure compliance with standards and good manufacturing practices by the various departments involved in our manufacturing operations.
- Manage the quality assurance documentation system.
- Maintain the management of quality systems such as investigation, CAPA, change control, change request and deviation.
- Manage Health Canada and FDA GMP regulatory audits.
- Manage the product specifications process.
- Manage the stability process and annual product quality review.
- Lead the management of the quality system training program.
- Manage self-inspections, action plans and deadlines.
- Administer the complaint management process and ensure that product quality complaints are investigated and followed up.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of quality assurance key performance indicators.

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in science, chemistry, or microbiology.
- 5 to 7 years' experience in quality assurance management within the pharmaceutical, food or cosmetics industry (a requirement).
- A working knowledge of laws and regulations such as the Food and Drug Act (FDA), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and regulations on natural health products and cosmetics.
- Experience with Health Canada and FDA (a strong asset).
- Good computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.

- Bilingual, French and English, as the person will be working with documents from both the United States and Europe.
- Well-organized, autonomous, methodical, and responsible.
- Team-oriented and able to influence.
- A good communicator.
- Good at taking initiative, good judgment and good objective and relational approach.
- Problem-solving oriented and able to work under pressure.
- Oriented towards strategic plans to improve quality performance indicators with the approval of the Department Manager.
