Warehouse Supervisor

The **Warehouse Supervisor **ensures that Club Coffee achieves high levels of customer satisfaction - both internal and external - by developing material handling and inventory management methods, processes, data collection and employee capability to meet production schedule fulfillment and financial objectives.
**Additional Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP, Food Safety, SOPs, HACCP, OHSA and other pertinent policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Adhere to all safety systems and practices and ensure that all safety measures for production lines are in place.
- Subject matter expert on SAP &OTM, Warehouse and Materials Management
- Conduct internal or external audits on schedule.
- Defining strategies for packaging material handling, finished goods storage and services as required.
- Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with measures to quantify results that align them with Supply Chain department.
- Lead cycle count and year-end financial audit for packaging materials. Ensure accuracy of data in the system including location, quantity on hand, value, etc.
- Work closely with Operations and Distribution center to achieve optimal productivity in both areas as it pertains to line feed, packaging material location.
- Analyze reports, measurements, and external benchmarks to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Demand Planning/ERP specialist to develop ERP Capabilities to reflect company objectives, S&OP requirements and productivity.
- Lead People Development, communication to ensure adequate training and monitoring of Material Handling employees’ capability to meet all quality, safety and workplace procedures are met.
- Work closely with Finance and Sales to manager customer OS&D Claims
- Timely reporting of incidents as per Club Coffee policies and procedures
- Checking the MHEs/PITs on a daily basis and getting repaired if required
- Preform other tasks/duties as assigned by the Manager.
**Requirements**:
- Must have a valid forklift (counterbalance/reach) license
- Willing to work flexible timings to cover all 3 shifts
- Willing to come in on Saturday or Sundays to support business needs
- University/College technical degree, Supply Chain, Material Management, Industrial Engineer or Equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ERP, MRP and Material /Inventory leadership role, preferably in food processing or related industry.
- Proven track record dealing with External warehouses - managed internally / externally
- Working knowledge of Canadian HSE regulations
- Ability to lead and manage direct reports
- Proven track record for results achievement, goal setting, action planning
- Problem Solving / Decision Examples:
- Capability to effectively prioritize tasks and ensure completion with mínimal errors.
- Ability to assess and promptly rectify difficult situations and/or issues while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Take proactive action based on key indicators and trend information to optimize the production process.
- Skills / Knowledge:
- Effective reading and comprehension is required when viewing SOP's, policies, work process instructions, GMP, H&S guidelines, etc.
- Knowledge of computerized scheduling techniques
- SAP/ERP/MRP Software advanced user
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Office Applications - Word, Excel, Power Point
- Customer service oriented
- Fluency in English and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Strict adherence to GMP, Food Safety and Personal hygiene policies.
- Work in compliance with OHSA, wear PPE and report any contraventions of the act
