**General Summary**:
Position directs and coordinates daily warehouse operations for the plant. Position supervises all warehouse associates emphasizing effective day-to-day warehouse performance.

- Hires, supervises, trains, and develops the warehouse staff.
- Provides associates with guidance, training and communication regarding job requirements, all OSHA safety guidelines, ISO procedures & Avient rules/expectations.
- Performs performance appraisals and provides timely feedback regarding performance reviews to the employee.
- Coordinates the scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper coverage in order to receive and distribute products/materials in a productive and cost-efficient manner.
- Coordinates proper vacation request for warehouse associates.
- Coordinates warehouse associates’ schedules ensuring appropriate coverage at all times.
- Completes and approve warehouse associate’s time-cards.
- Coordinates all inbound and outbound orders.
- Responsible for the general condition of the warehouse, shipping/receiving areas and yard areas in regard to container storage and overall cleanliness. Inspects for any improper warehousing of inventory & insures the warehouse is neat and clean at all times.
- Manages warehouse supplies at proper inventory levels and insure all warehouse costs are meeting plan.
- Provides effective communication between service center office staff and the warehouse personnel.
- Provides the highest level of customer service.
- Develops/maintains various warehouse productivity reports.
- Monitors all warehouse activity for proper output, productivity, and safety processes (flag up, lock out tag out, etc.).
- Manages all ISO procedures, documentation, and control of records, correct forms and training.
- Monitors forklift maintenance, safety, and training.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Physical/Environ. Demands**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use foot/feet to operate machine. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and frequently move more than 250 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, chemical suit, gloves, aprons, etc. Work is inside and the typical noise level is loud. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and explosives. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
