**About the Role**:
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is accountable for critical receiving QA checks (produce, proteins), completion of all ingredient checks, staging fulfilment, scheduling/coaching of material handling staff, space and equipment maintenance, adhering and enforcing all safety measures and guidelines established functions, and paperwork related to receiving and inventory duties. This includes, but is not limited to, verifying the quantity and quality of products/ingredients being delivered and monitoring inventory within the facility to ensure production requirements are met. Putting away product, rotating inventory, entering inventory values into our ERP, and maintaining organization within all inventoried areas of the facility, as required. This particular position is incremental, and will bear direct responsibility for managing the inventory and rotation of our finished goods.

**Some of the things you’ll get paid to do**:
**Staffing**:

- Ensure staff scheduling is accurate and up to date, covering all warehousing functions
- Responsible for performance and safety coaching
- Cross training extra-departmental resources as contingency resources
- Jumping in to cover warehouse responsibilities in the event of low staffing levels

**Receiving**:

- Oversee and participate in accurate receiving of all ingredients and materials
- Critically evaluating the condition, dates, and quality of inbound produce and proteins.
- Ensure receiving documentation such as delivery receipts, invoices, packing slips, BOLs are entered accurately and in a timely fashion
- Update ERP (Business Central) warehouse receiving receipts and communicate discrepancies or rejections/returns
- Unload and load delivery trucks and move product into storage, fridges and freezers as required
- Safely operate and maintain pump trucks, forklifts or other related warehouse equipment
- Interface closely with the purchasing coordinator and adhere to all company purchasing practices, policies and procedures
- Ensure all inbound material details are entered into our ERP accurately and timely
- Ensure Open Quality Control activity module is up to date on a daily basis (streamline process as first month project)

**Inventory and Quality Control**:

- Manage, store and organize inventory utilizing proper methods and procedures
- Ensure inventory is rotated, First-In/First-Out policy, to maintain quality and avoid expiration/waste with a specific focus on finished goods
- Manage and maintain accurate stock by assuming responsibility for inventory counts and identifying and communicating discrepancies to appropriate parties
- Verify product quality and temperature of goods coming into the facility, recording information as required
- Keep receiving, loading dock (inside and outside) and inventory areas clean and organized for safety and efficiency
- Ensure temperature control and monitoring equipment in cold storage spaces is functioning
- Utilize warehouse expertise to establish a strategy for continuous improvement in warehouse and inventory management

**Staging & Other**
- Ensure the preparation, staging and transfer of inventoried product adheres to production timelines (generating movement sheets and conduct pick analysis for timely fulfilment)
- Foresee future requirements to prepare and temper ingredients in advance, where applicable
- Identify any potential shortages or quality issues to the appropriate parties in advance to avoid delays
- Provide exceptional and timely service for your internal customers
- Any other duties as required

**Work Hazards Safety Focused**:

- Able to frequently lift up to 50lbs with possible repetitive motion
- Comfortable working in transitional temperature environments associated with food storage, working in both colder fridge and freezer temperatures
