Inside Sales Representative

**Function of the role**:
We are looking to grow our Sales team with an ambitious and energetic Inside Sales Representative who will help us expand our client base. Your objective is to be a first contact for new opportunities with companies within. industries involved in hardware & lawn and garden.
We service a wide variety of customers across all sectors of industry; therefore the Inside Sales Representative will work with a variety of different decision makers. The Inside Sales Representative main responsibility is to generate new business accounts.
**Main Responsibilities will include**:
- Generate leads through researching the market and cultivating your personal network.
- Document and maintain information on leads, accounts, all related contacts and commercial data.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development.
- Understand client needs and requirements.
- Take part in the implementation of the commercial strategy put forward by the management team.
- Seek out new accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Meet lead generation objectives.
- Accomplish other mandates given by the Manger.
- Identify decision makers, schedule meetings, and execute appropriate sales techniques and cycle to close sales.
- Diagnose prospects’ business climates, challenges, strategic needs, and pain points and develop a true-value proposal to positively impact their businesses.
- Work with management to develop sales/marketing strategies and to penetrate new markets.
- Generate leads and attend meetings regularly every month through networking and general prospecting.
- Meeting and Exceeding month KPI’s & targets; and Annual revenue target driven.
**Essential Qualifications & Skills**:
- Energy and a can-do attitude.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline.
- Ambitious career prospects looking for growth within an organisation.
- _A passion for sales is a must._
**Desired Skills and Qualifications**:
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) coupled with heightened listening skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience working with SAP Business 1
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Self Starter.
- Motivated with the ability to work on your own and be a contributing member of a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks on time.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
