Under the direction of the Manager, Business Solutions & Project Services, the IT Project Coordinator provides project management, operational, and administrative support to the project team, sponsor, IT Business Analyst and IT Project Manager. The role will focus on specific deliverables, parts of projects, and/or sub-projects with scheduling, organizing, data gathering, progress updating, recordkeeping, and reporting. Data quality utilizing frameworks defined in the Project Development Life Cycle (PDLC) will be a primary responsibility, requiring proactive multitasking and coordination across a diverse set of teams and departments. The Project Coordinator will make project and portfolio reports presentation-ready to ease the burden on the broader IT PMO to validate and harmonize communications.

Job Requirements
- Post-Secondary diploma in Business Administration combined with demonstrated experience in an office environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High level proficiency in a variety of computer systems including MS Office (word, excel, outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities on a regular basis and deal with conflicting deadlines and needs of the Department.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work and deal with confidential matters.
- Well-developed analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent research skills to compile information for letters, reports and communication pieces.
- Ability to maintain a wide variety of records, files and reports in accordance with corporate standards and legislated requirements.
- Experience coordinating project delivery teams, standardized project management tools, and coordinating cross-functional project team members.
- Demonstrated experience on corporate level projects or initiatives with the ability to contribute a broad project management perspective while carefully ensuring project completion.
