The Youth Advisor provides support to the department by assisting with Oyateki project initiatives and performing administrative functions while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and careful handling of highly confidential and sensitive information. As an employee of SIIT, this position will positively promote and create an environment that demonstrates SIIT's vision, mission and mandate.

The Youth Advisor works collaboratively within the department and with internal and external stakeholders and partners and is accountable for assisting with planning, coordinating, and executing events and other project initiatives that engage youth. This position will take an active role in leading the Youth Advisory Circle meetings, act as a resource to support various Oẏateki projects, plan youth focused events, and offer insight on opportunities to connect the various advisories.
