Currently, we are seeking an experienced, professional and driven **Operations Manager** for our Building Automation Controls team, based in* Burnaby, BC.*
**Operations Manager Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage a high performing building Controls team through Pursuit, Estimating and Project Management including Change Order management and Service handover
- Manage Go/ No Go and pursuit strategy, as well as standards for estimating and change order processes.
- Review jobs monthly with project Managers.
- Manage, coach, and conduct performance management reviews of team
- Provide leadership on strategy, best practices, negotiation, and customer service
- Respond to operational escalations on pursuits and projects with a solution focused approach
- Be accountable for financial performance in relation to pursuit, estimating and project management
- Meet or exceed project profit and revenue targets, and assist with the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Work closely with other management in the Controls Group to foster collaboration and alignment
- Support the Business Development and Sales team as needed

**Operation Managers Qualifications**:

- 5 or more years of experience managing a high performing team
- 5 or more years managing financials, preferably with experience in project accounting
- PMP, Building Controls, and/or Engineering education/qualifications coupled with experience in the Building Automation industry
- Strong Project management and time management skills,
- Superior communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to identify problems and propose effective resolutions
- Familiarity with Reliable Controls and/or Schneider Controls preferred
