**Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX**:
- As the Manager, Manufacturing Quality, you are responsible for the end-to-end facility Quality Management System. You will develop strategies to enhance capabilities, tools, and processes to improve quality and support scalability. Through collaboration with production and other cross-functional teams, you drive the implementation of lean initiatives in your department and beyond, supporting the evolution of our manufacturing processes and improving key quality and factory metrics. You are responsible for building a strong team of skilled quality engineers, technicians and quality control team while demonstrating coaching and fostering behaviors that are aligned with Arc’teryx culture and values.

This is where products physically come to life and come back to life through our repair center.
**If you were the Manager, Manufacturing Quality, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:
- Accountable for developing, evolving and maintaining manufacturing quality end to end processes and overarching quality management system.
- Partner with Brand Quality ensuring up to date quality standards are in place and implementing progressive strategies aligned with overall company quality goals.
- Drive our non-conformance process and ensure timely and effective counter measures are put in place.
- Responsible for product and factory compliance with regulatory bodies such as TUV, including conducting internal audits regularly.
- Accountable for all quality KPI data collection, system and reporting; working cross-functionally to set production team up for achieving quality targets on a consistent basis
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, product defects, non-conformances, corrective actions, and re-validations.
- Oversee standardization and maintenance of quality inspection processes that ensures quality standards.
- In collaboration with Production, analyze work force, capital equipment and space requirements to ensure on time delivery
- Monitor and control cost of quality, including cost of rework, write-off and seconds and lead cost reduction initiatives
- Foster the partnership with our Global Brand Quality teams to support overall brand quality improvements.
- Establish a structure to continually evaluate root cause of manufacturing defects and failures with emphasis on future prevention
- Lead, coach, and empower a high performing team of Leaders, Quality Engineers and quality inspectors. Balance different skill sets, facilitate teamwork and evolve each team member with strengths-based leadershipapproach.
- Teach and coach lean and continuous improvement activities across all departments
- Act as a problem solver who can recognize bottlenecks within a process and influence cross-functional teams to work to breakdown organization silos to achieve our goals
- Take on other projects and responsibilities consistent with the position and as required with the changing needs of the organization in support of business development

- Developing and Introducing strategies to support global quality assurance
**Are you our next Manager, Manufacturing Quality?**:
- 8+ year experience in manufacturing and quality assurance with 3+experience in a leadership role
- Strong background in Lean Six Sigma and usage of tools such as: 6S, Value Stream/Process Mapping, Kaizen, Shainin Red-X and/or other similar tools, Green or blackbelt certified
- Experience building and using DFMEA, PFMEA and Control Plans
- Post-secondary education in mechanical or industrial engineering
- Previous experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), methods and process engineering, work studies, facility planning and cost estimation
- Ability to set clear strategy in support of the company vision, put plans together to deliver the vision, and communicate and align your team on the common vision and objective for optimal execution
- Proven track record of influencing actions and decisions and driving implementation within cross-functional teams, balancing autonomy with collaboration through partnership
- Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Ex
