Edge Bander Operator

Do you have strong woodworking skills and an **eye for detail**? We’re looking for experienced Edge Bander Operator with 2 +years in the industry. You have a positive attitude and want to become a new member of our team. You are someone who is proficient in operating edge banding machinery and manufacture products using shop drawings and material lists. You communicate effectively as you work alongside other members of our shop team or work independently. This is a great way to put your edge banding knowledge to use in an environment where your experience and insight will be valued.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating Edge banding machines
- Recent Edge banding experience in a high volume cabinet or millwork manufacturing facility using Edge banders such as SCM or other similar machines.
- Ability to work with both solid wood and wood-based materials
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- A keen interest in learning
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
**Responsibilities**:
- Ability to setup for different edge materials and thicknesses, and produce high quality products consistently
- Proficiency with specifications, measurements and machine setting
- Ability to maintain optimum machine performance and the day to day maintenance and cleaning are completed
- Attention to detail
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to maintain the safety of yourself and others
- Consistently maintain a positive attitude
**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
