Richmond, Canada Monarch North America Structures Ltd. Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate structural steel components according to blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Operate a variety of tools and machinery, including saws, welders, grinders, and torches.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and meet Monarch’s high standards for quality.
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving in the shop as needed.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other fabricators in the team.
- Oversee workflow and collaborate with the shop supervisor to optimize productivity.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Inspect completed welds and fabrications to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects align with company goals.

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication.
- CWB cert and MCAW/FCAW. (TIG and Stick welding is an asset).
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong leadership skills with experience overseeing a team in a fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG/TIG), cutting, and assembling steel components.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to safety and quality.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
