Draftsperson

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide shop drawings submittals in compliance with contract documents, and within the specified budget and timeline.
- Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, site instructions, request for information, request for change orders and other documentations to prepare shop drawings for approval by project management and clients.
- Revise shop drawings based on mark-ups by architect, engineer, and code consultants to achieve total approval of the project; Keep log and quantify all changes to site instructions, request for information and change orders.
- Provide complete fabrication documents in accordance with the project timeline, prepare layouts, fabrication, and installation sketches for internal shop fabrication & field installation
- Prepare final record set of shop drawings based on approved mark-ups.
- Maintain library of standard details, parts, and programs.
- Develop, maintain, and follow standard templates and fabrication guidelines*
- Provide technical assistance to Project Management team.
- Prepare take offs for material and hardware.
- Prepare quote requests and purchase orders.
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Revit, essential.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and building codes.
- Ability to create accurate technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- A degree or certification in drafting, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$38.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
- drafting: 3 years (preferred)
