**What you’ll do**

As the Associate Manager, Auto Lifecycle and Assortment Support, you will partner with the Merchandising Team to plan and deliver against business strategies aligned to Auto Operations and Lifecycle Management. You will lead the day-to-day operations and improve our business processes, tools and financial reporting to help deliver on our short-term and long-term goals. This role is also responsible for measuring success and for reporting progress of various initiatives to Senior Leaders. Positive working relationships with internal and external partners will be established and maintained.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of Lifecycle and Assortment Analysts, leading KPI measurement, scorecards, and cross functional communication
- Communicate and collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Network Analytics, Store Support and other cross-functional support teams to ensure strategic alignment and management of Auto Operations and Lifecycle initiatives
- Provide financial leadership by working with cross functional teams to measure and communicate status of APAP and inventory financials and budgets. Identify improvement opportunities for the Auto Parts Assortment Planning program.
- Work directly with Accounting, Finance and Integrated Planning on financial impacts of Auto Operations and Lifecycle initiatives
- Prepare, monitor and analyze budgets and forecasts, and investigate variances while identifying risks and opportunities
- Anticipate and support evolving financial performance reporting needs and work with cross functional teams to drive improvements and process changes
- Participate in high priority business requests, including deep dive analysis, performance management, financial/profitability analysis on Auto Operations projects
- Drive efficiencies in regular reporting to allow more time spent on in-depth analysis
- Monitor effectiveness of business strategy and prepare executive storyline presentations highlighting key findings and insights in a logical well thought out manner
- Support the development of, participate in, and lead workshops or meetings that identify opportunities to improve processes and tools. Create slides and presentation decks, as well as present the content to large audiences.

**What you bring**
- University degree in business, finance, or related discipline
- 3-5 years experience in a related field such as business or finance with a strong foundation in retail
- Strong leadership presence through consistent demonstration of passion, accountability and strong communication skills (e.g. influencing, presentation skills)
- Thrives in a team environment by contributing to a shared team purpose, celebrating team achievements, and maintaining positive working relationships with team members and various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward
- Proven strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills accompanied with strong business and financial acumen
- Demonstrated project management competencies
- Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo through suggesting opportunities to improve ways of working
- Experience with Canadian Tire Corporation merchandising and supply chain processes and systems
- Experience with building and improving financial models
- Understanding of how CTR engages with vendors and vendor management skills
- Ability to multi-task in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
