Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within the transportation and trucking industry, to understand the unique financial and operational challenges.
- Proficiency in accounting software is essential for managing financial records efficiently.
- Familiarity with the transportation industry's compliance and regulatory standards, including DOT regulations, to ensure the company's financial practices adhere to legal requirements.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, providing a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement cost-saving financial strategies or processes, contributing to the company's financial health and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Google Sheets, enabling the analysis of financial data and the preparation of reports.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effectively reporting financial information to management and other stakeholders.
- Capability to manage administrative tasks, such as document management, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring smooth office operations.
