**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
As a Continuous Improvement Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our organization's evolution, responsible for navigating the complexities of business processes and proactively identifying areas for enhancement. In this dynamic role, you will engage in comprehensive consultations with various client departments, ensuring a deep understanding of their lines of business and requirements. Your analytical talent will shine as you meticulously analyze data related to existing systems, procedures, and performance, allowing you to create a comprehensive map of current and alternative business processes. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in streamlining workflows, pinpointing priorities, and identifying resource requirements, all with the overarching goal of fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Your impact will extend beyond analysis as you take the lead in supporting the implementation of process improvement initiatives, driving change initiatives and enhancing service outcomes. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will not only analyze the costs and benefits of new or revised processes but will also define project scope and requirements, ensuring seamless post-implementation evaluations.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business or related, supplemented by courses in business analysis with BPM/IIBA certification an asset, plus considerable related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma are preferred.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES**:

- Thorough knowledge of problem definition, analysis and problem-solving techniques related to business processes and systems planning.
- Considerable knowledge of the principles, methods and standards applicable to business systems planning and related project management.
- Considerable knowledge of quantitative/qualitative analysis and of performance measures and reporting.
- Considerable knowledge of the functions and operations of departments served and their requirements related to the work performed.
- Considerable knowledge of the rules, regulations, policies and procedures governing the work.
- Ability to document, assess and analyze a variety of information, to identify priorities and requirements, and to propose new or revised business processes.
- Ability to develop a framework and related tools and training to monitor and evaluate the performance of business system processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Ability to recommend, lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives that deliver quantifiable performance improvements such as process efficiencies and improved service outcomes.
- Ability to facilitate and gather feedback from a diverse group of stakeholders and interpret feedback into actionable process improvements through problem solving and analysis.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts and to provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and to translate technical information into plain language.
