**Job Description**:
Are you an automotive technician looking to sell automotive shop equipment with our NAPA store sales teams and provide technical support to our customer base? If so, this job is for you Our NAPA Auto Parts Norther BC, Interior and Kootenay's region is currently looking to fill the exciting role of Sales Development Specialist - Under hood to grow our market share. A true technical sales visionary that will play an integral part in successfully growing our sales and develop our NAPA business in the territory to ensure long-term success within that market.
- You will effectively contribute to increased sales through well-organized and well-prepared sales presentations/calls/and training sessions with Installers, store outside sales staff, counter staff, store and DC management.
- You will recommend inventory coverage at the DC, the stores and the installer levels in order to maximize sales while maintaining acceptable inventory turnover.
- You are responsible for the sales planning and growth of your assigned territory and market, and for the achievement of the annual key objectives established for your specific sales group. This covers direct store and installer sales; after sale support (warranties and programs); and the effective execution and measurement of promotions, programs and product launches, the delivery of product clinics and training at the DC, store and installer levels.
- You are accountable for achieving sales objectives, maintaining up-to-date product expertise with respect to represented and competitive products, developing a good understanding of your customers’ business reality, developing strong customer relationships, and a sound knowledge of your local market environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of the Automotive Aftermarket through Sales or as a Technician with 5 or more years of experience
- Availability for business-related travel within assigned territory.
- Strong presentation, communication and written skills, customer focused, team-orientated, driven for results, and excellent planning and organizational skills
