- Supervises campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being.
- Facilitate and support camp programs.
- Follow and enforce all camp rules and policies.
- Effectively communicate with campers, staff, and parents
- Help campers adjust to camp and to each other; emphasize self-respect and respect for others; promote positive, healthy friendships; encourage through motivation.
- Provides enjoyable experiences while still in a learning environment for camp participants.
- Motivate campers to actively participate in all camp activities.
- Complete daily and weekly paperwork
- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**Specific Accountabilities**

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)**
- Must have completed grade 11 and be registered to return to high school or post-secondary for fall 2024.
- Strong communication, organizational, time management skills.
- Able to work with youth from diverse backgrounds.
- Responsible, friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and willing to learn.
- Able to work in a team and independently.
- Must have a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
- First Aid/CPR (considered an asset but not necessary)
- Hold a valid driver’s license (considered an asset but not necessary)
