Camp Counsellor

As a camp counsellor you'll be involved in a wide variety of events, entertainment and exercises designed to help kids with special needs get the most out of summer.

Counsellors are responsible for a one-to-one relationship with their camper as well as any of their camper needs over the duration of camp (excluding medical needs).

**Mandatory four-day training July 8- July 1, 2024.**

**Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm for five weeks. (July 15 to August 16, 2024)**

Successful applicants will be:

- experienced working with people with special needs
- enthusiastic and energetic
- flexible and patient
- must be reasonably fit as some lifting is required on occasion and some campers are very active
- good communication skills
- team player in a collaborative environment

Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $15.00-$19.84 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week
