ACASS is a leading provider of international private aviation support services, and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced People and Culture Manager to help us build a strong HR function and team, as well as oversee our talent acquisition, hiring, on/off-boarding, and performance management processes. You will also have opportunity to partner with our VP of Business Strategy and Administration and other leaders to develop and implement plans, programs, and initiatives to support a positive work environment, engaging culture, organizational development, and the achievement of our company goals.

**Here’s how we’ll do it**:

- Be a role model and help us cultivate a positive, value-centric, and engaging work environment.
- Partner with our leadership team to understand, plan and execute our HR and talent strategy.
- Manage the functions of the People & Culture department (i.e., talent acquisition, on/off-boarding, employee relations, transfers/promotions, performance management, etc.)
- Lead, recruit, hire, train, and support staff in the People & Culture department.
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and development initiatives.
- Coach staff at all levels of the organization in behavioral, cultural, interpersonal, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with our Payroll Specialist to support payroll and benefit administration.
- Maintain our personnel files and HR related documentation.
- Team up with our administrative team to plan company events and team-building activities.
- Partner with our legal team to resolve employment issues and ensure legal compliance.
- Stay up to date on best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law and make recommendations as needed.
- Provide thought leadership in areas such as career development, talent management, employee engagement, retention, compensation, etc.

**What you bring to the team**:

- Ability to meet strategic goals for the department through sound business decisions and recommendations to senior management.
- Proven ability to establish and manage HR core processes (talent management, recruitment, employee relations, succession planning, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (fluent).
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Outstanding interpersonal, relationship-building, leadership, and people management skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, prioritizing tasks and delegating them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, and to consistently engage with others in an empathetic, tactful, and diplomatic manner.
- Ability to coach and mentor others.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with automated HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2 years as a manager.
- CHRP designation is highly desired.
