- Track timing and progress of all Canadian and US construction projects from development to completion
- Ensure proper insurance coverage is in place throughout our construction projects
- Request, review, and follow-up on all information required from project & property managers for placing new and extending existing insurance coverages, including construction projects and IPP renewals
- Deal directly with insurance brokers on placing new coverages, ongoing coverages, and any insurance-related information, including potential claims
- Deal directly with the captive insurance program for both Canada and US operations while looking for coverage opportunities
- Manage and organize all existing insurance files and create an ongoing process for filing insurance documents
- Understand and track all other company-wide insurance
- Be the point of contact for internal and external insurance questions
- Collect, distribute and maintain any relevant insurance certificates

**Summary of Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 -3 years work experience in the insurance space. Construction knowledge considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be a self-starter and exercise responsible and sound time management and self-management
- Experience in handling sensitive and/or confidential matters with the utmost discretion
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with good attention to detail
