We currently have a full-time Event Supervisor opportunity available for team members with evening and daytime availability, both mid-week and on weekends. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their skills in the Hospitality industry.

**THE EVENT SUPERVISORS AT RIVER’S EDGE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:

- Effectively lead by example demonstrating superior customer service skills, and adaptability to customer feedback, ensuring flawless execution of the event in accordance with Carmens Group standards.
- Responsible for creating a memorable guest experience, and including menu execution, food quality and overall experience
- Acts as an ambassador and host of the venue, serving as a liaison between guests, management and team members
- Get to know the guests; be able to comfortably answer any questions a guest may have; ensure guest satisfaction throughout meal service and event
- Learn the details of menu offerings for various events
- Create and coordinate schedules, conduct inventory & ordering of bar product and event décor items, and other administrative duties as required
- Assist with team member relations including recruitment, training, coaching, and recognition
- Responsible for maintaining a healthy and safe work envrionment
- Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our guests by directly contributing to their extraordinary experiences
- Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
- Drive positive change in the organization

**EVENT SUPERVISOR POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Friendly, professional and customer service focused
- Positive, outgoing and friendly team player
- Ability to build rapport quickly with guests
- Excellent customer service skills, and ability to understand and respond to individual needs and requirements
- Hospitality experience and/or Event Management courses or diploma considered an asset
- 2-3 years’ experience in the hospitality / tourism / restaurant industry is required, preferably in a supervisory capacity
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Reliable transportation an asset
