Snow Shoveler

**Job Overview**

**Duties**:

- Clear snow and ice from driveways, sidewalks, and other designated areas using shovels and snow blowers.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to ensure thorough snow removal.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly disposing of snow and ice debris.
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including digging, gardening, and irrigation during off-season periods.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete snow removal tasks within designated timeframes.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly
- Use vehicle to drive to different locations as and when needed

**Requirements**:

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is preferred but not mandatory; mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as required by snowfall events.
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is advantageous but not required.
- Having a valid G license is an Asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift

- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
