Hardt provides solutions to the supermarket and warehouse club industry, and is the exclusive supplier of rotisseries and heated display cases to over 90% of the warehouse clubs in the US. The Company is actively customer-driven as indicated by its mission to provide “Responsive, Reliable Solutions.” Hardt is presently seeking a:
**Project Coordinator**

The purpose of the Project Coordinator position is to support projects and technical related task within the Technical Group. In addition, the Project Coordinator will support production by contributing to weekly quality meetings and providing guidance or assistance as required. The Project Coordinator will perform technical and management duties as assigned and is reporting to the Project Leader Supervisor.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Support Project Leaders with projects and product management administrative tasks.
- Maintain current understanding of the product and provide technical support to all internal departments;
- Identify opportunities for improvements to the product and submit them appropriately for consideration;
- Participate in Quality Review Group and support initiatives and actions as required;
- Contribute to technical design, development and improvements to all products within the organization;
- Perform and document testing activities to support product development and continuous improvement projects;
- Participate in assembling prototype and/or installing parts on existing equipment (mechanic, electric and/or electronic);
**Qualifications**
- Technical Degree or Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical field);
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 year of product development experience (testing & assembly of prototypes) or 1-2 years of product management experience (managing engineering changes, supporting manufacturing initiatives);
- Exceptional communication abilities and well-developed professional verbal and written skills in French and English. Knowledge of Spanish would be an asset;
- Must demonstrate leadership and planning skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, MS Project);
- Must be highly energetic and result oriented;
- Technical software knowledge (CAD or CAE - _C_omputer Aided Engineering_, such as stress analysis or deformation analysis on a given part or assembly) is an asset;
- Programming skills would be an asset;
- Knowledge of certification standards and processes such as UL (Underwriters Laboratory), CSA (Canadian Standards Association), NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) would be an asset.

**Working Conditions**

Office and work shop environment with some hands on involvement. Regular hours 8:30am to 5:00pm - Monday to Friday.

**COVID-19 Working Conditions**: Possibility of working from home when fully trained.

**Coordonnateur/Coordonnatrice de Projets**

Le rôle du Coordonnateur/Coordonnatrice de Projets est de soutenir les projets d’un point de vue technique au sein du Groupe Technique et de Développement. De plus, le Coordonnateur/Coordonnatrice de Projets devra soutenir la production en contribuant aux réunions hebdomadaires de la Qualité et fournir des conseils ou de l'aide au besoin. Le Coordonnateur/Coordonnatrice de Projets effectue les tâches techniques, administratives et de gestion qui lui sont assignées et relève du Superviseur de Projets.
