We are currently looking for an **Administrative Assistant IV** to join our Power Production team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Senior Plant Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to our professional team at the Tuft’s Cove Generating Station.

**The ideal Administrative Assistant IV will**:

- Demonstrate initiative, have an appreciation for confidentiality, a strong work ethic and a dedication to quality.
- You will be required to perform at a high level of competency and independence.
- You will be responsible for interacting with staff, accountable for sorting mail, tracking/reporting/follow up on current programs and metrics, word processing, maintaining bulletin boards and organizing our safety program, filing, and ordering office supplies.
- You will process payroll, invoices, requisitions, purchase orders. In addition, you will prepare monthly reports, and other general administrative support duties.
- You will be responsible for personal safety, that of coworkers, and those under your direction by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
- You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.

- You have a grade XII education or equivalent, office administration training, and three to five years of related administrative experience.
- You have strong analytical and quantitative skills and are attentive to detail. You are a team player and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- You have a sound knowledge of current office procedures and possess proficient typing and computer utilization skills.
- You have a good working knowledge of various software packages (i.e., Word, Excel, MS Project, and Oracle).
- Accounting and/or knowledge of statistics would be a definite asset. You must demonstrate your commitment to personal development.
