**Job Purpose**

The General Labourer is primarily be responsible for general labour within a shop fabrication/welding environment.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Operate heavy equipment to complete a variety of job tasks to assist with construction/oilfield projects
- Ability to take direction, give direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
- Working with tradesmen to complete their tasks safely, accurately and on time
- Participate in all daily toolboxes and safety meetings
- Partake in safety awareness
- Other general labourer duties as required

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- A valid class 5 Drivers License
- 1+ year experience working in a fabrication Shop
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/maps
- Ability to lift a minimum 50 lbs, be physically fit
- CSTS-2020 certification is required
- WHIMIS certification is required
- Working knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools

**Skills**:

- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Superior organizational skills in managing multiple deadlines and tasks within a high-pressure work environment
- Excellent attention to detail

**Salary**: $18.75-$23.50 per hour
