This is a temporary full-time summer position from May - October and requires availability to travel for evening and weekend events. Community events this position will support include:

- Calgary: June 6-8, September 16, October 1
- Red Deer: September 17
- Lethbridge: June 9
- Edmonton: May 13, June 3, 17, September 10
- Camrose: June 24

**This position can accommodate a part-time schedule from September to October for students returning to classes.**

After all, you’re usually the first person your friends and family ask to help out with events and projects - because you can do it all Whether it’s organizing the equipment needed and making sure it’s all packed and ready, meeting guests and answering questions or showing up early to set up and staying late to tear down. You’re curious about what makes a good event engaging - for people of all ages. And with your dedication, creative thinking, and natural charisma, there’s no better person to get things done.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Report to the Manager of Community Relations and Engagement.
- Participate in the production of events, including set up and tear down.
- Assist with managing equipment, inventory, and stage for events or programs.
- Work with the purchasing department to order and replenish event supplies and equipment.
- Track Fill Our Fleet donations.
- Travel to events at different locations around the province.
- Assist with member event registrations using Swoogo.
- Assist with staff shift swap coordination using the Benevity platform.
- Support the engagement team while they seek opportunities to mobilize partners and reach younger members.
- Research, develop focus groups, and collaborate with the analytics team to mobilize and target specific demographics.

**WHAT YOU’VE DONE**
- You have a strong interest in public relations, event management and/or sponsorship; bonus points if you have education or work experience in any of those areas.
- You have good computer skills, adapt easily to new technology, and are familiar with cloud-based computing.
- You have a Valid Driver’s licence with clean driver’s abstract.
- Bonus points if you have a current first aid certification.
