Position Available: Field Marketing Intern

Position Type: Part-time/Full-time

Hourly Rate: $20 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Approximately 30 hours per week.

Location: Toronto, Ontario (1-2 Positions). Guelph, Ontario (1 Position). Hamilton/Burlington Region (2 Positions). Innisfil/New Market/Alliston Region (1 Position).

Mileage Compensation: $0.68/KM

Anticipated Start Date: Beginning of May; exact day TBD.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and safely.
- Own transportation and a minimum G2 Driver's License. You'll be required to drive to different locations weekly for various markets. Mileage will be compensated.
- Availability to work weekends, as the majority of markets are from Thursday to Sunday.
- Availability to work holidays such as Canada Day and long weekends.

Preferred:

- Food Handlers certificate.

**Job Description**:
As a Field Marketing Intern at Gingerbug, you'll play a vital role in generating brand awareness and promoting Gingerbug's fermented ginger beer in the Ontario region. Reporting directly to the Marketing Coordinator, Mackenzie Harrison, you'll be responsible for the following:

- Developing a deep understanding of the brand's unique selling proposition and its positioning within the marketplace.
- Communicating the brand's key differentiators to the public and potential customers.
- Creating brand awareness by participating in local farmers' markets and special events.
- Conducting in-store demos to market products and educate consumers.
- Identifying key stakeholders and potential partnerships within the region.
- Discovering new marketing opportunities and presenting them to the company Directors.
- Collaborating with Gingerbug Interns across the province to share ideas, discuss strategies, and execute marketing initiatives.
