**Field Service Rep I**

**This role requires travel within GTA and occasional travel to other cities.**

**What will you do?**

This position services, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance at customer locations and in a shop or depot for a variety of instrumentation, including installations and calibration. Partners with Sales to address service-related concerns to ensure the best experience for every customer The Field Service Representative displays a high level of ability and competence in customer service and especially with face-to-face customer interactions. At least 90% of repairs are performed at customer sites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Services, repairs, and calibrates instrumentation.
- Works on a broad range of lab instrumentation or may spend the majority of time on one line of instrumentation with some portion of their time on other instrumentation.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance (PMs) and calibration services that are assigned each month requiring ISO documentation to be completed and submitted to customers.
- Self-schedules work efficiently with customers as the requests come in and respond timely to customer needs.
- Conducts self in a professional written and verbal manner and is clear and concise in explanations to customers.
- Communicates with customers frequently on repair status.
- Responds to dispatched service calls within the guidelines provided.
- Gives a full and detailed account of time and work performed via the service work order being submitted after each service call or PM.
- Adheres to standards relating to work orders.
- Performs other related administrative duties each month such as expense reports, etc.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of education from a recognized technical institution in the field of Electronics and/or equivalent technical education.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of two years experience as a Field Service Technician.
