The Hillman Group Canada employs over 700 employees in 2 manufacturing facilities and 7 distribution facilities across Canada. We have a great group of professionals whose dedication and teamwork form the backbone of our company.
Summary
The National Service Manager will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of the Minute Key Canada business strategy, including leading a team of technicians who are tasked with generating sales revenue, optimum machine placement, timely product merchandising, and machine maintenance and repair. This role will serve as the primary contact, providing leadership, and meeting/exceeding sales goals and working cross functionally with internal departments - including the Robotic Digital Solutions team, customers and vendors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruit, oversee, coach, train and schedule a National team of Field Service Reps and Technicians.
- Drive sales growth within product portfolio working with Marketing and Sales.
- Create and implement policies and procedures relative to territory logistics.
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned with overall channel and corporate strategies.
- Conduct regular business performance reviews with senior level executives and the customer.
- Effectively manage line reviews to protect existing products and secure new product placement.
- Monitor and manage pricing strategy to align with overall brand strategy and margin expectations.
- Monitor business forecasts and participate in S&OP process as required.
- Travel up to 40-50% to ensure company Kiosk technical standard are being maintained while working with technicians and service reps to drive best placement and customer relations.
- Develop and execute scheduling and Key Machine deployment, Nationally
- Understand and monitor channel conflict.
- Evaluate POS data and present pertinent results.
- Evaluate state of machines and coordinate repairs with key leaders and Technicians.
- Ensure all Hillman Canada policies and processes are followed by staff in the field.
- Manage talent and work with internal partners to ensure staffing is maintained in all regions.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelors’ degree in marketing or business-related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, including a supervisory or lead role.
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
- Proven experience penetrating large, complex accounts and driving business growth.
- High energy, self-starter with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Effective, strong communication skills with senior leaders.
- Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
- High level of personal accountability.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to influence and drive approval from various stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Words, Outlook, Powerpoint).
- Travel required, must have a valid drivers license
