The Transit Relations Specialist will be embedded full-time within specific Calgary Transit divisions, and is responsible to provide operational communications planning, content development and tactical delivery. Primary duties include:

- Develop communication plans, content and tactical implementation for operational initiatives such as route changes.
Support operational communication needs and liaise with Customer Service and Communications (CSC).
Partner with divisions to understand the business, seek opportunities and deliver on tactical operational initiatives.
Prepare project plans, service changes and internal communications.
Provide guidance on tactical implementation with team members.
Measure the success of communication efforts to provide customers and employees with operational service information.
- **Qualifications**
***A completed 2 year diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public relations, Journalism, Business or related field with at least 8 years' experience in marketing, communications and strategic planning OR;
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public relations, Journalism, Business or related field with at least 6 years' experience in marketing, communications and strategic planning.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a diverse team.
Customer service focus, with proven ability to focus on achieving results, while remaining focused during stressful situations.
