Join Our Team: Energy Transition Geophysical Specialist
Location: Western Canada
About the Role: As an Energy Transition Geophysical Specialist, you will be the cornerstone of our technical team, supporting the Manager of Energy Transition. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining high-quality deliverables and ensuring customer satisfaction across all projects in Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention. Provide expert quality control (QC) and technical guidance to the team. Lead by example, completing project work with the highest quality standards. Innovate and develop new features for our Energy Transition clients in collaboration with the Software and Engineering departments. Integrate processing and analysis across various data types, including surface, downhole, fiber, EM arrays, and more. Conduct advanced analyses of earthquake and microseismic data, applying techniques such as SMTI, velocity models, and hazard analysis. Establish and maintain standard procedures for Energy Transition projects in Western Canada. Engage in business development activities to generate new opportunities and expand our client base. Train and mentor team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise. Be prepared for a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend work and travel to company or client sites.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field. Professional designation (P. Eng., P. Geo, or equivalent) is an asset. Eligibility for licensing with APEGA as a P.Geo. At least 3 years of experience in a related field. Leadership experience will be considered a strong asset.What We Offer:
