**Position Summary**:
The Service Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and administrative tasks within the shop and repair facility. They play a crucial role in coordinating workflow, managing resources, and ensuring smooth operations.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- First point of contact for Driver drop in repairs; coordinate and prioritize work orders.
- Support the maintenance and management of inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of required parts and materials.
- Support the tracking and control of costs related to parts and supplies.
- Support the Shop Foreman to schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance as necessary.
- Support the Shop Foreman with the preparation and administration of quotes and estimates.
- Accounting administrative support as required including, but not limited to, bookkeeping tasks, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and processing credit cards. Participate in Month End processing as required.
- Maintain and update general shop files, including equipment files, job files, vendor files, and other files related to shop operations.
- Communicate with customers regarding job status; respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and shop policies.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, addressing any hazards or concerns promptly.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Highschool Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years administrative/accounting experience in a similar environment required.
- Basic knowledge of semi-truck and trailers or automotive mechanics required.
- Fluent proficiency of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate; proficient in MS Office. Excel is essential.
- Experience with customer software such as CAT SIS and Cummins QuickServe a strong asset.
- Experience with Axon a strong asset.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; attention to details and deadlines with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent customer service skills.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:
