This individual will be an integral part of the Claims Department and will interact with all levels of the organization to expedite claim resolution, including completion of claims reviews to validate accuracy.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Investigate, adjust, and set up claims, as assigned
- Processing claims includes taking photos of all vehicles involved in the accident, book vehicles for repairs, complete body shop files, etc.
- Interview drivers regarding accident
- Develop effective working relationships with external clients, management, and all levels of the organization to ensure customer needs are met
- Communicate with other departments on status of claims
- Complete reviews of driver’s driving history
- Respond to drivers’ questions and request for experience/association letters
- Respond to insurance company requests
- Provide administrative support within the Claims Department
- Receives and directs drivers
- Updates and maintains Claim department policies and procedures
- Data entry
- Produce, edit, and proofread documents
- Organize meetings with drivers
- Maintains an organized filing system

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and understand complex claim related documents and activities.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- A team player who is focused on providing exceptional service and a customer focused attitude with the ability to take direction, work independently and work well with others.
- Must be able to prioritize and multitask including being able to remain flexible in continually changing and fast paced situations.
- Ability to work with time constraints in a complex environment.
- Possess advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively manage issues.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12 or GED
- Administrative Assistant Course, preferred but not required
