We are currently looking for a **Continuous Improvement Lead** to join our team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Manager, Operations Standards & Productivity, you will support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives within the Power Production team.

**As a Continuous Improvement Lead**:

- You will be required to work closely with members of the Power Production Facilities, Hydro operations, NS Power senior management, as well as other technical groups, to ensure processes are developed and projects implemented in accordance with company guidelines.
- You will lead activities to further develop and implement Productivity initiatives in maintenance and operations including aspects of the Management Operating Systems.
- You will be responsible for personal safety, that of co-workers, and those under your direction by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupation Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.

- Have 3 to 5 years of technical experience working in maintenance or operational roles and experience in productivity and process improvement projects while being able to build relationships across various levels of an organization.
- Through your leadership skills have a mindset geared towards innovation and possess a remarkable ability to influence inspire and drive change, focusing on process improvement within our Power Production Operations
- The incumbent has strong interpersonal skills in dealing with multiple work groups and the ability to motivate and encourage teams.
- Be a self-starter and leader with proven organizational and analytical skills who can function effectively in a collaborative team environment, while having knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Strong communications skills with regard to external partners and internal stakeholders.
- A valid driver´s license will be required, and willingness to travel between NSPI facilities to support projects and meetings as required.
