**Position Summary**:

- Reporting to the Health Services Administrator, or designate, the Manager-Relief is responsible for the management, leadership and coordination of services for the assigned portfolio. Acting in a relief or temporary capacity, the incumbent is adept at relationship development and adapts quickly to changing environments as assignments may be short-term in nature. Working in collaboration with the portfolio leadership team, the Manager-Relief is responsible to lead the delivery of health care services through effective human resource and operational management and by monitoring indicators, advancing project plans and escalating concerns as necessary.
- Starting salary will be approximately from $102,938 to $128,673 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field plus seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and delegate.
- Knowledge of a multidisciplinary team approach involved in the coordination of care in a complex environment and system of care services.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to promote team building while understanding that decisive action is required.
- Ability to find creative solutions to problems and to develop alternative strategies to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Positive problem solving skills in a dynamic unionized work environment.
- Computer proficiency.
