Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the creation of daily schedules and works closely with Operations to meet client service needs.

Key Accountabilities

Provides dispatch services for Saint John by way of constant communication between operators, supervisors, and management staff.

Responsible for scheduling work taking into consideration employee skill, ability, required mandatory training while working within the scope of the Collective Bargaining Agreement

Maintain consistent & fair processes with a high focus on employee morale & engagement

Acts as a liaison coordinating between our various operations.

Identifies optimization opportunities for the effective use of resources.

Work closely with the Operations Manager to create, implement & track operational efficiencies.

Responsible for billing all scheduled & emergency work based on contractual pricing.

Work with field supervisors to plan & schedule for upcoming Turn Around projects.

Oversee billing & reporting for Turn Around projects.

Acts as the first point of contact for all incoming calls and inquiries to dispatch.

Creates and distributes the daily operational schedule to operations management.

Responsible for coordination of equipment maintenance and repairs

Responsible for processing work orders

Creates and maintains a zero-harm environment by ensuring all environmental, health and safety regulations are always adhered to.

Participates in the after-hours/on-call program.

Experience, Qualifications & Education

3 - 5 years of experience, preferable in an leadership industrial environment

High school education, or equivalent experience

Previous leadership experience in Team Lead or Management position.

Related industrial cleaning experience, including vacuum services, considered an asset.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Above average computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to decipher google maps, and find information online is essential.

Exceptional organizational skills to ensure adherence to protocols, best practices for paperwork and operational flow of information.

Must be flexible and can easily adapt to changing priorities with an ability to multi-task.

Experience working with a unionized workforce and a collective bargaining agreement considered an asset.
