Weishaupt Design Group is a North American-based furniture retailer, manufacturer, and distributor engaged in both residential and contract markets, offering classic-contemporary designs with timeless style and enduring quality.

We are currently seeking a full-time **HR Coordinator **to join our growing team. The coordinator will be responsible for performing a range of important HR functions within the organization, including creating and maintaining HR documents and employee paperwork, full cycle recruitment, employee onboarding and offboarding, performance management, health and safety, benefits administration, employee engagement initiatives, and other important HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with HR team to execute HR operational processes and services with a focus on employee life cycle and data integrity
- Be the first point of contact for employees, leaders, and teams on issues related to policy, programs, and problem solving to provide effective solutions
- Partner with our finance team on payroll information, processes and information flow related to payroll
- Support in the planning and execution of team events and initiatives, fostering a culture of celebration and belonging
- Manage the Health and Safety program and Joint Health Safety Committee, supporting our Toronto HQ and satellite locations.
- Ownership and administration of employee recognition, birthday and anniversary program
- Support on-boarding and off-boarding of employees and contractors
- Handle the ordering of office and kitchen supplies and coordination of maintenance issues within the office
- Additional duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in People related functions in an evolving and high growth environment.
- Passionate about HR and delivering amazing employee experiences.
- A creative, resourceful, energetic, and positive approach.
- Details driven individual that can deliver results under highest expectations on time and quality.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to think outside the box and can adjust course when appropriate new ideas or objections are raised.
- Excellent computer skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- CHRP or other HR designation an asset. ‍
